hahah xD

Just had to put the picture up of Keith Richards riding a simple bicycle instead of a limo or cab or something xD

Excellent sounding amp =D

it's been somedays...

if you have the money to buy a vavleking 112, I would like to say three words... GO BUY IT!!! It's an extremely good amp and sounds amazing with humbuckingguitars such as les pauls! I've had one in a long time, and I'm still pretty amazed by the sound it produces!
My recommended settings for the overdrive on Valveking 112 would be my own:
Gain 7
Bass 7
Middle 7.5
Treble 8
Master Reverb 1
Sounds like a mix between Mick Mars and Slash. Also, if you're using a humbucker guitar, you don't need the boost gain to make it sound good. But if you like more distortion.. Just go ahead!

Slash (Probably the best guitarist alive?!)

Hey everybody!

From today, it's an exact week till I'm standing infront of the stage where Slash(Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver) will be playing. Just so everybody knows, Slash is the guitarplayer who influenced me to start playing gtr from the beginning.
I'm really looking forward to seeing him play, even though it ain't with Gn'R.

Well he is one of the greatest guitarists I think.. But not number one. We have Joe Bonamassa or Jimmy Page. Those two are probably better guitarists than Slash. Plus Page is one of the guitarists who influenced Slash the most. But I'd say that, right now Slash is number one. But no one is better than the other one. It's all just a difference in playing styles anyways.

Jimmy Page

Today is my first day as a blogger. My name is Adde Amnell and I'm a guitarplayer. I play in a band called Carved In A Rose, and we have our origins in Gothenburg (Sweden).

I really like Jimmy Page (if you don't know who he is, shame on you..!) so I made my Les Paul to look like his Gibson "Number One" Les Paul. I put on a mantle on the neckpickup which gave it a warmer and fatter sound (I'm guessing everybody who knows anything about guitars and humbucking pickups already knows this... But still fun to write about it xD) and since the bridge mantle already was of, I now have my own #1.. Altough it ain't a Gibson Les Paul from 1959 -.-' Now I just have to put on Groovers =D
